Paving
Asphalt is a strong, longer lasting solution for paving roadways, tarmacks, and parking lots for commercial or residential properties. It is also the most cost effective choice since it lasts longer. asphalt is a strong, durable, hard surface material used for a variety of residential and commercial paving applications.

Utilities
Construction site utilities are an important factor in the preparation of a site lot. State Contracting takes pride in delivering comprehensive services. Our general contractor’s license includes public utilities.
We are pleased to be able to provide all of your underground construction as well. Stormwater, sewer and fire system piping will be expertly measured and installed according to all local and NFPA guidelines and certifications. We use the most up-to-date techniques to ensure the effectiveness of the utility. With our field staff’s extensive experience and our management team’s expertise, we work closely with the owner, developer, and/or engineer of record during the early submittal stages and throughout construction.
Grading
Every project is only as good as the foundation it is developed upon! Our grading crews will ensure all earth moving is laser accurate and expertly stabilized to optimize the longevity of the horizontal and vertical construction it’s basing.
We perform professional and expert land grading, site development, earthwork, excavation, groundwork, underground grading, utility grading, erosion control. We have a qualified, professional staff that will be tailored to handle all aspects of site work beginning with estimating and continuing through project management and construction phasing. Additionally, we have staff who are Level II: Certified Erosion and Sediment Control/Stormwater Site Managers.
Milling
Asphalt milling is an affordable solution for asphalt pavement restoration and is often used as a cheaper alternative to complete demolition and repaving. The process involves grinding up an asphalt surface (anywhere from a couple of inches to a full-depth removal) to provide a smooth and even surface for repaving. A majority of rehab projects initially require removal of deteriorated materials in order that new asphalt perfectly aligns with existing curb and gutter.
We are one of the few, fortunate construction companies to own a Bomag Cold Planer Milling Machine for these purposes. The discarded product, “millings”, are recycled at certain plants in the area and reused when possible. One of the ways we strive to Go Green!
